But, yes, we're working with Dept. of Rehabilitation right now. In fact, it was Chico's office that referred me to the one in our county.(For a while I called people only to be told to be called other people until I got to Dept. of Rehab.) It's not a very well known program -- I didn't even know it was there!

Thanks again for your help.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15915968995957299554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4021317.post-60165405356052239932010-06-30T15:32:58.945-07:002010-06-30T15:32:58.945-07:00Hi Karen, I have some information for you. I work for Work Training Center, and we have a community employment division for people with disabilities and you're right since he doesn't qualify for services thru Far Northern he couldn't come in that way. But the coordinator of our program told me to have you try Dept. of Rehab, that he should qualify for services through them. I assume Tehama County has an office, but if not you could call the Chico office at 895-6042 and find out the phone number. I don't know if you have tried Dept.of Rehab yet but wanted to point you in that direction. Truly he needs help and assistance and one-on-one coaching to get a job. Please let me know if I can help any further my email is karen(at)ewtc.org. Hugs. :)Bookwormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11607599900573988844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4021317.post-55064367746271960192010-03-24T22:50:54.849-07:002010-03-24T22:50:54.849-07:00There are several common signs between Aspergers a...There are several common signs between Aspergers and autism.
